Joey Bosa has the realest reason for why he signed with the Buffalo Bills
Joey Bosa has a downright truthful and "real" reason for why he signed with the Buffalo Bills.
Bosa inked a one-year deal in Buffalo during the NFL's 2025 free agency period. Of course he's getting a nice pay day of $12.6 million which helps.
But the five-time Pro Bowl is heading to a very different scene.
Bosa was the third-overall selection of the Los Angeles Chargers at the 2016 NFL draft. He's spent his entire career in sunny California and now he's taking on the Western New York elements.
None of that bothered him.
What was on Bosa's mind first and foremost as a free agent? Winning... because the 29-year-old said he's aging.
"I'm getting old and I'm ready to win," Bosa said.
In life, he's not old... in football years, Bosa does have a shelf life.
As optimistic as Bosa is about the Bills, his new teammates feel the same way about him heading to Buffalo.
“That was a pretty, pretty cool signing,” quarterback Josh Allen said via video conference. "“He’s gotten to me a couple times in my career.”
Bosa had five sacks in 14 games last season. In his nine-year career, Bosa has hit double-digit sack totals four times.
