The Winnipeg Jets have put themselves in the driver's seat to clinch the Central Division and home ice throughout the playoffs, defeating the Dallas Stars in commanding fashion, 4-0.

Morgan Barron, who's been playing the best hockey of the season as the Jets' fourth-line center, recorded his eighth goal of the season to give the Jets a two-goal advantage.
Kyle Connor was sprung on a breakaway by Mark Scheifele in the third period, scoring his 39th goal of the season. Both Connor and Scheifele set career-highs in points on the goal. Connor recorded his second goal of the game and 40th of the season, capitalizing on a counterattack to give the Jets a 4-0 lead.
Connor Hellebuyck had the answers to everything the Stars threw at him, turning away all 24 shots he faced, recording his 8th career shutout and setting a career-high of 45 wins. Jake Oettinger allowed four goals on 35 shots.
The Jets are back in action on Saturday when they play their final road game of the season against the Chicago Blackhawks.
