After going through an extensive search following their separation from GM Joe Douglas, the Jets decided to take a shot on assistant GM DarrenMougeyfrom the Denver Broncos.
Mougey held various positions during his journey through the organization, and he now comes to the Big Apple, where he'll be tasked with helping turn around a squad that finished 5-12 last season and hasn't made the playoffs in 14 years.
With the first wave of free agency done with, his next task is to tackle the NFL Draft.
After another rough season, Gang Green currently holds the seventh overall pick in the 2025 edition of the draft.

Bottom Line: Graham has shorter-than-ideal arms for an NFL interior defensive lineman, but outside of that, there is a lot to love. He is fast, violent and relentless, and he can stop the run with great strength. He brings a high floor at all times and a high ceiling in flashes as a 3-technique defensive tackle for a 4-3 front.
DT Mason Graham, Michigan
The Jets have needs at receiver, tight end and right tackle, but new head coach Aaron Glenn also could use another difference-maker on the defensive front. Graham lacks special physical traits but is the kind of tone-setter Glenn's former team in Detroit always sought out in the trenches.
