Jaren Jackson Jr. leaves Memphis Grizzlies' game vs Utah Jazz after taking elbow to face

Memphis Grizzlies All-Star Jaren Jackson Jr. left the game in the third quarter on Tuesday night against the Utah Jazz after taking an elbow to the face.

Jackson was attempting to block a shot at the rim when he was hit with an incidental elbow and went to the locker room.

Before leaving the game, Jackson was in a groove. He had 19 points on 8-for-12 shooting in 23 minutes.

With Jackson out, the already short-handed Grizzlies frontcourt will rely on Santi Aldama, Jay Huff and Zach Edey. Memphis is already without Brandon Clarke for the remainder of the season due to a PCL injury, and Marvin Bagley is out while he's in the concussion protocol.

Jackson has been one of the Grizzlies' most reliable and consistent players on both ends of the floor. he's averaging 22.4 points in 65 games this season.
