Jags load up on depth in new 7-round mock draft

Last season, the Jacksonville Jaguars finished with a disappointing 4-13 record due to a confluence of events, including an injury to quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence is now healthy and the Jags are hoping for a big rebound season. In going over the Jacksonville roster, there are a few needs at starting spots but the 2025 NFL draft is as much about bolstering depth at multiple positions. Here is our latest Jags mock draft update.

First round - TE Tyler Warren - Penn State

Second round - S Xavier Watts - Notre Dame

Third round - DT Omar Norman-Lott - Tennessee

Third round - OT Jona Savaiinaea - Arizona

Fourth round - WR Tory Horton - Colorado State

Fourth round - HB Jaydon Blue - Texas

Fifth round - EDGE Sai'vion Jones - LSU

Sixth round - CB Robert Longerbeam - Rutgers

Sixth round - G Dylan Fairchild- Georgia

Seventh round - QB Tyler Shough - Louisville

Our goal going into this mock was to get the Jags help at tight end, wide receiver and defensive tackle. With Travis Hunter and Tetairoa McMillan both off the board, we pivoted to tight end Tyler Warren who gives Trevor Lawrence an elite pass catcher at the position. We are still able to get the Jags defensive line help with the massive Omar Norman-Lott and landing wide receiver Tory Horton in the fourth is a bargain. He's the smoothest route runner in the draft and a perfect No. 2 wide receiver to go with Brian Thomas.
