Inter seal huge win at Atalanta to move three points clear at the top
Inter moved three points clear at the top of Serie A with a huge 2-0 win away to fellow title challengers Atalanta in a game that saw both teams end with 10 men.

In an incredibly tight game that saw just five shots on target throughout, both sides had decent chances in the first half to take the lead.
Marcus Thuram saw a fine effort strike the inside of the post before Mario Pašalić had a point blank range header brilliantly saved by Yann Sommer.
Inter finally broke the deadlock nine minutes after the break through Carlos Augusto. The Brazilian defender rose highest to Hakan Çalhanoğlu's corner to power home a brilliant header.
From here, Inter showed why they are such a hard team to beat, defending extremely well and allowing for few chances.
Any hope of an Atalanta comeback ended in the 81st minute when Éderson was foolishly sent off for two shows of dissent in a matter of moments, a red card being brandished after he sarcastically clapped the referee's first decision.
Lautoro Martínez put the seal on an impressive win with three minutes left, firing home a great strike after Nicolò Barella slipped him in on the right.
Gian Piero Gasperini's frustration got the better of him in the aftermath, resulting in another red card on a tough night for the Bergamo side, and Alessandro Bastoni made it three before the end, being dismissed for a second yellow.
The win moves Inter six points clear of Atalanta, and three ahead of second-placed Napoli, as they look increasingly likely to claim a second consecutive Scudetto.
