Whether you're against the "Aaron Rodgers to Pittsburgh" narrative or all for it, it's an easy assumption to make that both sides of the coin are likely sick of the waiting game—and ESPN insider Jeremy Fowler may have a less-than-ideal update on the situation.
After discussing what the Titans, Browns, and Giants are rumored to do with the first three picks in the draft, Fowler was asked to share what he knows on the Rodgers-to-Pittsburgh waiting game:
"I'm told—from the Steelers—that they do remain optimistic, but nothing has changed from when Art Rooney, team president, addressed the media at the owners meeting on Tuesday—that they feel good about this shaking out, that Rodgers will be a Pittsburgh Steeler," Fowler explained. "I have not got definitive word, but they're willing to wait 'a little while longer'."
Could the organization be expecting a decision soon from Rodgers—and if so, will it take place at Pat McAfee's Big Night AHT on April 9th?
