How many points has Walter Clayton Jr. scored in the NCAA Tournament?

With how he's played in the last five games, Walter Clayton Jr. is quickly becoming one of the best go-to scorers in men's NCAA Tournament history.

For the second straight game, the 6-foot-3 guard became the closer for top-seed Florida basketball and moved the Gators one step closer to their first national championship in 18 years with a legendary performance Saturday in the Final Four against Auburn.

Of Clayton's 34 points on the night, 20 of them came in the second half in an impressive 6-of-9 shooting performance from the field.

The run that Clayton is having is simply impressive. He has singlehandedly led Florida to back-to-back, come-from-behind victories in the Elite Eight and Final Four after facing 10- and nine-point deficits, respectively.

Clayton wrote his name alongside Larry Bird in the March Madness record book Saturday — they're the only two players in NCAA Tournament history to have back-to-back games with at least 30 points in the Elite Eight and after.

Clayton will now look to deliver one more legendary performance for Florida in the national championship game at the Alamodome at 8:50 p.m. ET on Monday against the winner of No. 1 Duke vs. No. 1 Houston.
