In the city where people were once told to "Remember the Alamo," there will be a fight on a new field of battle Monday night.
Florida basketball and Houston will play for the national championship in the NCAA Final from the Alamodome. The Gators are led by the sensational Walter Clayton Jr., who became the first player since Larry Bird in 1979 to score 30 points in the Elite Eight and Final Four.
Then there's LJ Cryer, Houston's star player, who took the Cougars to the final stage through his top-notch defense.
Both Duke and Auburn fell short of reaching the last act, but they both advanced to the Final Four and have the runner-up for National Player of the Year (Johni Broome) and the National Player of the Year (Cooper Flagg).
All of these players are worthy of being the NCAA Tournament's Most Outstanding Player, but we want you to voice your opinion and pick one.
Poll closes Thursday at 11:59 p.m. ET.
Walter Clayton Jr., Florida
LJ Cryer, Houston
Johni Broome, Auburn
