Red Sox Fan Makes Epic Foul Ball Catch with His FoodA Boston Red Sox fan made a one-of-a-kind catch at the team's recent game.
During the Red Sox's win over the Toronto Blue Jays at Fenway Park on Thursday, April 10, one fan stole the show when he made a wild catch — using his food!
The man, wearing a Boston zip-up hoodie, was roughly 10 rows up from the field when the Blue Jays' Bo Bichette hit a foul ball into the stands.
As fans looked around to see what had happened to the ball, the Red Sox fan held up his hand to show that he caught it, and it appeared to be on top of his fried dough, as seen on the broadcast.

When MLB's official X and Instagram accounts shared the clip, one fan called the highlight a "Knuckleball Sandwich" while another couldn't believe it, writing: "What are the chances this actually happens?" in the comments.
"He forgot his side of baseball," joked another user after the clip went viral.
And at least one fan was concerned about whether the concession stand would "replace his order for free" after a baseball landed in it.

The Red Sox defeated the Blue Jays, 4-3, after the fan's sweet catch — which was not nearly as sour as another Bichette foul ball of the recent past.
Last May, the shortstop hit a 110 mph ball into foul territory, and it hit a woman on the forehead.
Blue Jays fan Liz McGuire received a baseball-sized lump, but wasn't seriously injured. In addition to a signed Bichette ball and tickets to a future game from the Blue Jays, Topps later released 110 commemorative trading cards in her honor.
