Former Spartan Karsen Dorwart makes NHL debut with Philadelphia Flyers

On Saturday night, a dream came true for a member of the Michigan State hockey family. After signing his entry level contract with the Philadelphia Flyers earlier this week, Karsen Dorwart has made his NHL debut with the Flyers.

During the Flyers Saturday night contest on the road against the Montreal Canadiens, Dorwart was in the lineup, getting his first taste of the NHL.

In the game, Dorwart registered 10:32 of ice time, registering two shots on goal and two hits. He had an even plus-minus in the game.

Dorwart will most likely get his chance to play in the final seven regular season games with the Flyers as the 2024-25 season wraps up.
