Hans Nicolussi Caviglia is ‘pleased’ by Thiago Motta’s latest interview, where the ex-Juventus coach said he regretted selling the midfielder.
Former Juventus coach Thiago Motta released his first interview since being sacked by Juventus on Saturday.
Motta surprisingly revealed he did not regret selling Moise Kean or Nicolò Fagioli to Fiorentina, but Nicolussi Caviglia’s transfer to Venezia was described as a “mistake” from the Bianconeri.
The Juventus academy product commented on Motta’s words on Sunday, minutes before an away game at Lecce.
Former Juventus midfielder reacts to Motta interview: ‘Pleased’
“I’m pleased by his words, but I am just focused on playing and giving my best,” the Italian midfielder told DAZN via Calciomercato.com.
Nicolussi Caviglia, 24, has four goals and two assists in 27 appearances with Venezia this season.
He joined the Lagunari on loan with an obligation to buy from Juventus last summer.
Nicolussi Caviglia’s Venezia picked up a point in an away game at Lecce on Sunday, which left them in the relegation zone, five points below the Giallorossi in 17th.
