Kalulu admits that he would be happy with Juventus move: “I am paid”

Pierre Kalulu’s departure from AC Milan in the summer mercato seems inevitable, and once again, a feeling of regret is seeping in.

When the club decided to invest in the defence this summer, casualties were expected. Very few people expected to see the French defender leave San Siro, though; in fact, he would probably be one of the few that people would have kept for his versatility.

You could also argue that he would have been better use remaining at the club than some of those who came in to replace him.

This is without even considering his performances in Turin, where he has become a stalwart for Juventus this season, becoming one of the better defenders in the division this season, and being so consistently.

So, a permanent exit now seems inevitable, but the Frenchman is not thinking that far ahead. Instead, as he stated after the game against Roma this weekend, the focus remains on the present, as Milan News relays.

“To be honest, I look at social media very little. We are all professionals, and we know when we have played well or badly. If you start watching too much, it risks hurting you, and it doesn’t help you manage your ego.

“In the end, I am calm about my situation. It changes little for me, until June, I am paid. So I would say that if something happens after June, I will be happy.”
