Former Georgia Bulldogs and New England Patriots center David Andrews visited the University of North Carolina, where he had a reunion with his former coach, Bill Belichick. The North Carolina Tar Heels' head coach invited Andrews to speak to theie college football team and offer his insights.
"10 years in the league, an undrafted player, eight-time team captain as a free agent, All-Decade player and multiple Super Bowls for an undrafted player," Belichick said when introducing Andrews. "Now, it didn't happen in one day. It didn't happen in one year. It was day after day after day after day, after week after week, after month after month, after year after year stacking those together."
The Patriots released David Andrews at the start of free agency this March, which signaled the close of a significant chapter. Over the past 10 years, he had been a vital part of New England's offensive line, playing a key role in two Super Bowl championships and being named to the All-2010s team.
