Former Georgia Bulldog re-signs with Baltimore Ravens
The Baltimore Ravens have re-signed former Georgia Bulldogs offensive lineman Ben Cleveland. Cleveland, who spent the first four years of his NFL career with the Ravens, will look to become a starter in 2025.
"Cleveland saw action in all 17 regular season games as a backup at left guard, plus both playoff contests," said Glenn Erby of Ravens Wire. "The 2021 third-round pick finished the final year of his rookie deal and had no major suitors on the open market."
Cleveland's return provides depth to the Baltimore offensive line, which lost offensive lineman Josh Jones (Seattle Seahawks) and Patrick Mekari (Jacksonville Jaguars). The Ravens offensive front stayed pretty healthy in 2024, so Cleveland did not have many opportunities to play.
Cleveland plays both offensive guard and tackle for the Ravens. He primarily played offensive guard at Georgia.
During the offseason, Cleveland was arrested on suspicion of a DUI in Milledgeville, Georgia.
The Ravens did not announce the terms of Cleveland's contract. He made $4.8 million over four seasons during his rookie contract.
