Florida Panthers named finalist for Sports Team of the Year at Sports Business Journal Awards
It’s a good time to be a fan of the Florida Panthers
After a quarter-century of mediocrity at best, the Panthers have become one of the top franchises in sports.
From a solid ownership group at the top to an excellent group of managers and decision makers at all levels, the Panthers franchise has never been in a better place.
On the ice, Florida is the defending Stanley Cup Champions. Over the past three seasons, they’ve been to the Stanley Cup Final twice and won the Presidents’ Trophy.
Those are only some of the reasons why it comes as no surprise to see the Panthers named as one of the Sports Team of the Year finalists for the Sports Business Journal Awards.
Other nominees include the Los Angeles Dodgers, Washington Commanders, Inter Miami CF, Cleveland Cavaliers, Indiana Fever and USA Gymnastics.
Winners will be announced during a live event at the New York Marriott Marquis Times Square. on Wednesday, May 21
