Duke Reveals Massive Cooper Flagg Announcement Amid NCAA Tournament

Cooper Flagg has taken college basketball by storm in his freshman season with the Duke Blue Devils, leading them to the No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

While the Blue Devils look to punch their ticket to the Final Four and win the East region, they have already picked up momentum with two double-digit wins.

Duke began the NCAA Tournament with a 93-49 win over Mount St. Mary's and followed that with an 89-66 win over Baylor.

As the Blue Devils prepare for a Sweet 16 matchup against Arizona, the Blue Devils' official social media account posted an exciting announcement about Flagg.

Cooper Flagg has been named the USBWA Player of the Year, receiving the Oscar Robertson Trophy, named after the NBA Hall of Fame point guard.

During his freshman season, Flagg has averaged 18.7 points, 7.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists per game. He leads the Blue Devils in all three categories, as well as posting 1.3 blocks and 1.4 steals per game.

In the Blue Devils' latest matchup against the Bears, Flagg recorded 18 points, nine rebounds, six assists and one block.
