For the third time this year, Donald Trump has declared himself a golf champion.
Already supposedly having won the Club Championship and the Senior Club Championship in 2025 at his course outside of West Palm Beach, the president completed the Triple Crown of golf championships at Trump International West Palm Beach last weekend.
The Palm Beach resident claimed to have teamed with Finnish President Alexander Stubb to win the Men's Member-Guest tournament.
"I just played a round of Golf with Alexander Stubb, President of Finland. He is a very good player and we won the Men’s Member-Guest Golf Tournament at Trump International Golf Club in Palm Beach County, with the Legendary Gary Player, Senator Lindsey Graham, and former Congressman and highly successful Television Host, Trey Gowdy," Trump wrote on social media.
A statement from the Finnish President's office said Stubb made an informal and unofficial visit to Mar-a-Lago, Trump's Palm Beach residence. He arrived Friday and the two played golf Saturday.
Last month, while boasting about winning the Club Championship, the 78-year-old Trump added it would "probably" be his last.
"I just won the Golf Club Championship, probably my last, at Trump International Golf Club, in Palm Beach County, Florida," he wrote. "Such a great honor! The Awards dinner is tonight, at the Club. I want to thank the wonderful Golf Staff, and all of the many fantastic golfers, that participated in the even [sic]. Such fun!"
Trump is returning to South Florida this weekend for the ninth time since starting his second term as president Jan. 20. But this trip will start in Miami where he is expected to arrive Thursday and make an appearance at the LIV Golf event at his resort in Doral in the afternoon.
