Dillon Radunz would be an excellent fit in Seahawks offense
News broke earlier this week that the Seattle Seahawks were bringing in free-agent guard Dillon Radunz for a visit. General manager John Schneider continues to search for solutions to his offensive line problem. Radunz would be an intriguing fit in Klint Kubiak's offense.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Radunz with the No. 53 overall selection in the 2021 NFL draft. Radunz was supposed to be their franchise right tackle of the future. After failing to establish himself at that position, he became a utility spot-starter at both tackle and guard. In 2024, his fourth season, he became their full-time starting right guard, winning a training camp position battle by default following Saahdiq Charles' unexpected and abrupt retirement.
Radunz was credited with allowing six sacks and 23 pressures, according to Pro Football Focus. In truth, he'd be an upgrade on what Laken Tomlinson, Christian Haynes, and Anthony Bradford provided the Seahawks with at guard last season. He's still not the high-level solution Schneider hoped to find this offseason.
What makes Radunz a potentially intriguing fit is his familiarity with Kubiak's offense. Having coached under Kyle Shanahan, Kubiak derives from the West Coast Offense coaching tree. Radunz is a natural in that zone-based system, having operated that scheme in Tennessee under Todd Downing and Brian Callahan. New Seahawks run game specialist Justin Outten also coached him with the Titans, adding another layer of familiarity.
Radunz is also more effective as a run blocker than pass protector. Kubiak wants the Seahawks to run the football more effectively after finishing 28th in rushing last season. If he signs in Seattle, perhaps Radunz will finally meet his potential.
