Real Madrid’s top defensive target, Dean Huijsen, has finally addressed the growing speculation linking him with a move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

The young centre-back, currently on the radar of several top European clubs, has maintained a composed and grounded attitude amidst the rising media attention.

When asked about how he is handling the transfer rumours, Huijsen made it clear that he does not allow the noise to distract him.

“I generally don’t read anything. Maybe a friend sends me something, but I don’t read anything. I keep working; you have to be humble,” he told El Chiringuito TV, relayed by AS.

The 19-year-old talent has attracted attention from footballing giants like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Madrid, but he insists he remains focused on the present.

“They’re great teams. I don’t know, it depends on a lot of things. I have a release clause, but I don’t know what the price would be,” he explained, highlighting that a decision will be made after more consideration and discussions with his representatives.

On being specifically linked with Real Madrid, Huijsen admitted that it is a sign of progress in his career. “It means I’m doing well, but I don’t focus on that. If you want to know anything, you’ll have to talk to my father,” he said.
