Dabo Swinney Highlights All In Foundation’s $13 Million Impact on Local Communities
Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney had plenty to talk about during his recent call to WCCP 105.5 FM, touching on everything from spring practice and recruiting to the impact of his All In Foundation.
With the Tigers returning from spring break, Swinney wasted no time getting back to work. “We’ve got our clinic, high school clinic this weekend, along with an underclass recruit day,” he said. “A lot going on in Tigertown, man. But it’s fun, beautiful weather. So coming off the spring break, we brought the sunshine back.”
Swinney Highlights All In Foundation’s Impact
Beyond football, Swinney took time to highlight the work of his All In Foundation, which continues to make a major difference in communities across South Carolina. A listener from Chapin texted in to thank Swinney for his efforts, prompting a heartfelt response. “She’s my selfie buddy,” Swinney laughed. “Every time I see her, we take a selfie. So I know exactly who she is. She’s awesome.”
Swinney then shared the staggering impact of the foundation’s work. “In 2024, we gave away just over $1.7 million,” he said. “$1.2 million of that went to 276 different grant recipients all throughout the state. And since our inception, we’re a little over $13 million that we’ve been able to give away to the community.”
Swinney also promoted the upcoming All In Ball, the foundation’s premier fundraising event. “It’s our Super Bowl night for the foundation,” he said. “It sets the tone for the whole year for us.” The 16th edition of the event, scheduled for the Friday before Clemson’s spring game, features a live and silent auction, special guest speakers, and a new Clemson Derby theme.
Jersey Mike’s has played a key role in supporting the foundation, and Swinney encouraged fans to take part in the company’s annual Day of Giving. “Tomorrow, March 26, is a big day for us,” he said. “One hundred percent of the sales at 24 stores across the upstate are going to be donated to our foundation. Every dime that you spend is going directly to make a difference for somebody.”
Swinney wrapped up by looking ahead to Clemson’s spring game, which will give fans an early look at the Tigers heading into the 2024 season. “If you want to see some of these young guys, some of these Tigers for this year and 2025, it’s a great opportunity. It’s free, and it’s always a big day for us.”
