His massive contract includes a no-trade clause, and the value of the deal alone would make it a difficult contract to move.

The Patriots drafted Milton in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL draft. He played excellently in his one appearance last year, which came in relief of fellow rookie Drake Maye in the team's regular-season finale against the Bills. Milton completed 22 of his 29 attempts (75.9% completion rate) for 241 yards, a touchdown and no interceptions. He also rushed 10 times for 16 yards and a touchdown.
