Could Boston Celtics point guard Derrick White finish his NBA career a Hall of Famer?
Could Boston Celtics point guard Derrick White finish his NBA career a Hall of Famer? Despite what you might hear from people who do not realize that the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame covers more than just play in the Association, it is actually not too easy to make it in.
But White, as an NBA and G League champion with a pair of All-Defensive Second Team nods to his name, the path to a nod to the Hoops Hall is definitely not out of reach. He'd probably need at least another title and an All-Star bid or two to have a chance, and a third of either category would probably get him across that line.
The hosts of the CLNS Media "The Big Three NBA" podcast, A. Sherrod Blakely, Gary Washburn, and Kwani Lunis, took a deep dive on the topic on a recent episode. Check it out below!
