Coastal Carolina football games will provide free concessions for fans this fall

Coastal Carolina might be the best place to watch a college football game this fall if you're hungry and/or on a budget.

The school announced on Monday it will provide select free concessions for fans attending Brooks Stadium home games this fall via the CCU Kickoff Meal Deal, a partnership with Aramark.

Yes, free concessions. As in, you don't pay any money for your food or beverage. Free. Free food. Free soda.

"Ticket-purchasing patrons visiting the concession stands will be able to acquire four items per concession stand visit from a selection of hot dogs, nachos, popcorn and fountain drinks," a release from the school reads. "There is no limit to the number of in-game visits, but fans must scan each trip through the line with the soon-to-be-launched Coastal Carolina Athletics App."

Not all food and drink will be free, as the release notes specialty items, food from outside vendors and alcoholic beverages will still cost you.

However, if you want a hot dog, some nachos, some popcorn or some soda at a Chanticleers game this fall, all you'll apparently need is a special app on your phone.

Chow down; drink some soda; live!
