This saturday, AC Milan will travel to Florence to face Fiorentina, but in a few months time, and whilst they’ll travel back this weekend, in a few months, it could be Yacine Adli making the trip.
In the summer, Adli seemed to be one of the most likely departures for Milan, and in the first few months in Florence, a redemption in the summer seemed highly likely, with him churning out performances for the Viola.
However, there has been a growing doubt recently about the midfielder, and it could see him return to the San Siro this summer.
According to Calciomercato.com, like Riccardo Sottil, the Frenchman is currently struggling in his surroundings, and looks increasingly likely to return to his parent club in the summer, a fate which his former Italian teammate may share.
The report relays information from Corriere dello Sport that states Fiorentina are not as inclined to make the midfielder’s spell permanent when given the chance in the summer, especially not €13 million. So it seems a return could be on the cards.
Whether there is a space for him at Milanello remains to be seen, but if the Diavolo can add €10m to their Ricci kitty, it probably would not be turned down at this point you imagine.
