Celtics eclipse 60-win mark with massive 130-94 home victory over the visiting Hornets

The Boston Celtics cruised to an easy home victory Friday night against the visiting Charlotte Hornets, picking up a 130-94 win at TD Garden. Boston is now 60-21 on the year with one game to play for the 2024-25 season. This is the 15th time in franchise history the Celtics have hit the 60-win mark.

The game itself didn't have any long-term implications for Boston. The Celtics are locked into the two-seed in the standings, no matter how the rest of the regular season plays out. Still, head coach Joe Mazzulla elected to play his starters. Jayson Tatum and Derrick White used this as an excuse to swap accessories for the night in what was otherwise a low-stress affair. Boston jumped out to an early lead and never really looked back, ripping open a massive lead at the end of the game thanks to a 39-19 fourth quarter performance from the reserve players.

Let's jump in and recap the action by looking at the best photos from the game, a 130-94 Celtics home win over the Hornets.
