Pakistan 190-4 (30.4 overs): Muneeba 71, Aliya 68*
Pakistan won by six wickets
A magnificent 91 from captain Kathryn Bryce was not enough for Scotland as they fell to a six-wicket loss to Pakistan at the Women's World Cup qualifiers.
With the match in Lahore shortened to 32 overs after a rain delay, Bryce was bowled from the last ball of the Scottish innings, setting a target of 186-9.
Having beaten the West Indies in their opening match, the Scots threatened another upset.
Ailsa Lister hit five fours in her 31, while wicketkeeper Sarah Bryce contributed 21 with the bat and took two early stumpings to leave Pakistan on 36-2.
Bowler Chloe Abel claimed her second wicket to halt opener Muneeba Ali on 71.
However, Aliya Riaz steered the host nation home with eight balls to spare, hitting an unbeaten 68 and knocking a no ball away for four to seal victory.
That was the 21st extra conceded by the Scottish attack.
Pakistan lead the way with two wins from two, while Scotland are next in action against Thailand on Sunday.
