Capital midfielder, Pickerington native Grace Osborn sets NCAA lacrosse points record

No NCAA lacrosse player, man or woman, in any division has more points than Pickerington Central product turned Capital midfielder Grace Osborn.

In a 19-6 win over Otterbein (1-7, 0-1 OAC) Saturday, Osborn recorded six goals and three assists for the Comets (5-3, 1-0 OAC), giving her 569 career points. The previous record holder was LIU Post’s Jackie Sileo, who posted 564 points between 2011-14.

Osborn set the record in fewer games than any other of the NCAA's other points leaders, and Capital still has six regular-season games left to play. At her current pace, Osborn could become the first NCAA player to produce 600 points.

According to USA Lacrosse, the All-American is already the first player in NCAA history to score 400 goals. She has 447 and counting.
