The Vancouver Canucks (34-28-13) continue their home stand with a Saturday matinee against the Anaheim Ducks (33-34-8). Saturday's game is considered a must-win for Vancouver, as a loss would virtually eliminate them from post-season contention. The Canucks are 2-1 against the Ducks this season, with their last matchup being a 3-2 victory at Rogers Arena in early March.

Vancouver's lineup could look very interesting on Saturday against Anaheim, as the Canucks are the injuries are starting to pile up. Not only will they be without center Elias Pettersson, Filip Chytil and Nils Höglander, but Nils Åman and Tyler Myers are also not expected to play. Overall, Vancouver's top players will need to step up in a big way if they want to skate away with a victory over the Ducks.

Players to Watch:

Conor Garland:

One of those top players that needs to step up in this game for the Canucks is Conor Garland. With 44 points in 74 games, Garland has been one of Vancouver's most consistent forwards all season but will need to have a big game on Saturday afternoon. If Garland can get on the scoresheet while also being a pain to play against, it will go a long way in helping his team remain in the playoff chase.

Cutter Gauthier:

Cutter Gauthier is one of the many exciting prospects on Anaheim's roster. The 21-year-old has 38 points in 75 games and is currently playing in the Ducks' top six. Gauthier already has two points in three games against Vancouver this season and could easily find his way onto the scoresheet Saturday.
