Broncos tweet thank you message to 4 departing free agents
The Denver Broncos tweeted a thank you note to four of their departing free agents on Friday.
Cornerback Tremon Smith joined the Houston Texans, linebacker Cody Barton joined the Tennessee Titans, running back Javonte Williams joined the Dallas Cowboys and punter Riley Dixon joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this week.
"Javonte, Riley, Cody & Tremon — Thank you for all you gave #BroncosCountry while you wore the orange & blue! 🧡," the team tweeted from their official @Broncos account.
A fifth in-house free agent, quarterback Zach Wilson, left to join the Miami Dolphins. Wilson was omitted from the thank you message, perhaps because he never actually played a down in Denver as he was inactive for all 17 games last fall.

Williams (54 games), Smith (34 games), Barton (17 games) and Dixon (17 games in 2024 plus 32 games from 2016-2017) combined to play 154 games during their respective tenures with the Broncos. Best of luck to them going forward.
