5 big-name free agents still available for Broncos
The Denver Broncos have already made a few splashes in NFL free agency, and they might not be done just yet.
The Broncos are probably get close to their salary cap limit, but the team could create additional cap space through restructures or roster cuts. Unless they create more cap space, Denver's front office might be looking for bargain deals going forward.
At the risk of publishing a list that could quickly become outdated, we've put together a quick list of five free agents who are still available and could be of services to the Broncos. Let's jump right in.
1.RB J.K. Dobbins: Denver seems likely to draft a running back early, but the depressed RB market could make Dobbins a cap-friendly signing. He rushed for 905 yards and nine touchdowns with the Los Angeles Chargers last fall, averaging 4.6 yards per carry.
2.WR Cooper Kupp: This one could become outdated at any moment now as Kupp is expected to choose his next team soon. There have been conflicting reports on whether or not the Broncos are interested in Kupp, but if the price is right, he'd be a great addition.
3. WR Amari Cooper: If Denver does not land Kupp, perhaps Cooper could be a fallback plan. Splitting time between the Browns and Bills, he hauled in 44 receptions for 547 yards and four touchdowns in 14 games last fall.
4. DL Calais Campbell: The Broncos could use more depth on the defensive line and Campbell is a Denver native who totaled five sacks as a rotational player with the Miami Dolphins last season.
5. OLB Von Miller: There's really no explanation needed for this one. Miller still has some gas left in the tank (he had six sacks in 13 games in 2024) and it would be great to see him finish his career with the Broncos.
