Brest predicted XI v Monaco: Romain Faivre out, Pierre Lees-Melou to start

Romain Favire is out for Stade Brestois as they prepare to face European qualification rivals AS Monaco at the Stade Francis Le Blé on Saturday evening.

He is one of the multiple absentees for Brest. Jordan Amavi, Soumaïla Coulibaly, Bradley Locko, Jonas Martin, and Ibrahim Salah are all also out of this tie, which could prove pivotal in the race for the European places come the end of the season. However, Eric Roy can still field a first-choice XI, despite the absences.

Ludovic Ajorque will lead the line with Abdallah Sima coming off the right and Mathias Pereira Lage on the left. Pierre Lees-Melou will feature at the heart of a full-strength midfield with Mahdi Camara and Hugo Magnetti also set to play against the Principality club.

Marco Bizot; Massadio Haïdara, Brendan Chardonnet, Abdoulaye Ndiaye, Kenny Lala; Mahdi Camara, Pierre Lees-Melou, Hugo Magnetti; Mathias Pereira Lage, Ludovic Ajorque, Abdallah Sima. (L’Éq)
