Carolina Hurricanes forward Bradly Nadeau joined a very exclusive list of players last night, becoming just the sixth AHL U20 player since 1940 — and third in the last 50 years — to score 30 goals in a season.
Nadeau, 19, has 30 goals and 56 points in 62 games this season with the majority having come after returning from the World Junior Championship.
Before the WJC, Nadeau had six goals and 15 points in 22 games, and after returning from it, he had 24 goals and 41 points in 40 games.
It's also notable that a majority of his production has been at even-strength (22 goals).
The 2023 first-round pick has been a proven goal scorer at every level he's played and it looks like things are no different at the professional level.
Nadeau is 7th in goals and 17th in total scoring amongst all AHL skaters this season and 1st and 2nd respectively amongst rookies.
