Bengals' Ja'Marr Chase might be fast but he's slow on Cincinnati's Cajun cuisine | Letter

Recently, when Bengals star receiver Ja'Marr Chase signed his big contract, he took the opportunity to throw Cincinnati's cuisine scene under the bus. He explained that he was from New Orleans and inferred that there was nothing to eat in Cincinnati that would appease his Cajun/Creole taste buds. He made it sound like we were stuffing him with brats and sauerkraut.

I wanted to tell him that over on the East Side, you can't swing a stick without hitting a bowl of gumbo. At Allyn's Cafe, BrewRiver Creole Kitchen and Swampwater Grill, you can also feast on jambalaya, catfish, crawfish etouffee and red beans and rice. If you won't believe me, how about if The Enquirer's Keith Pandolfi weighs in on the controversy − and sets Ja'Marr straight.
