According to a recent report from SPORT, Barcelona are on the verge of announcing three important contract renewals in quick succession. These renewals involve Robert Lewandowski, Marc Bernal, and Wojciech Szczesny.

While each of these deals is at a different stage of completion, the club appears confident that all three will be finalised soon.

Lewandowski’s contract extension has been in the works for some time, and it seems both parties have now reached a full agreement.

The experienced striker is expected to continue his journey at Barcelona for another year, which could potentially see him remain at the club until 2026.

This extension is considered a significant boost for the team, given Lewandowski’s status as a proven goal scorer and influential presence in the dressing room.

Interestingly, Lewandowski’s decision to renew his contract has reportedly played a key role in convincing Szczesny to continue at Barcelona

The Polish goalkeeper, who has already laid the groundwork for an agreement, is expected to commit to the club for one more year.

It is believed that both players could end their time at Barcelona in 2026, seeking new challenges afterwards, particularly in the case of Lewandowski.

Then there is Bernal

Meanwhile, Bernal’s renewal has faced minor delays due to scheduling issues rather than any disagreements.

The midfielder’s contract extension was initially planned for the beginning of the year but has been pushed back due to timing conflicts.

Nevertheless, both the club and the player are eager to finalise the renewal, which is expected to be completed within the next couple of weeks.

Barcelona view Bernal as a key part of their future plans, particularly for the pivot position. Despite the impressive performances of Marc Casado and Frenkie de Jong in that role, the club sees Bernal as their primary long-term solution.

His commitment to the Blaugrana shirt is unquestionable, and the club remains fully invested in his development.
