Square Enix in Japan has launched a website celebrating the 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy IX, and has special merchandise planned to commemorate the occasion.
For starters, Square Enix is selling the Final Fantasy IX Picture Book: Vivi, Grandpa, and the Day of Departure for 1,320 yen or approximately $9 USD, which is set to release on July 2. There are also several goods to order, such as figures, necklaces, and plushies, as well as the 25th Anniversary vinyl called Timeless Tales.
Square Enix is collaborating with the eyewear brand Zoff to create a special pair of glasses, and there will be some sort of "commemorative lottery" in July, with details being revealed at a later date.
