Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka is ‘ready to go’ ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Fulham tomorrow.
Saka has been sidelined since sustaining a hamstring injury during the win at Crystal Palace on December 21st. The England international was forced to undergo surgery and has been working hard to recover in time for the run-in.
After stepping up first-team training during the international break, Arteta has confirmed Saka is ready to return tomorrow evening.
It’s a huge boost for Arsenal, with Saka having been directly involved in 15 goals in 16 Premier League appearances this season. Only Mohamed Salah has provided more than Saka’s 10 assists this season, despite the latter not featuring in 2025. Arsenal also have a looming Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid later this month.
“Bukayo Saka is ready to go,” Arteta said at his pre-match press conference.
“All the careful things are already done. Now it’s about putting him in the grass at the right moment. But he’s pushing because he really wants to.
“We have respected the timeline and we have done everything. He is ready to go.
“Bukayo is a massive weapon that we have. We know the impact he has in the team and how important his role and contribution is to our success. It’s great to have him back again.”
