Michigan State basketball took down Ole Miss on Friday night in the NCAA Tournament's Sweet 16, propelling the Spartans into the Elite 8 for a matchup against Auburn for the right to play in the Final Four.
The game between the Spartans and Rebels was a dog fight, with both teams bringing physicality and intensity from the opening tip to the final buzzer. Ole Miss held control of the game for a long time, but the Spartans did what they have done all season long, make a run and take the win late.

Pacing the way for the Spartans was their senior leader Jaden Akins, who was a +9 in 30 minutes of action on Friday.
Jase Richardson
Leading the Spartans in scoring, Jase Richardson came in at second in the plus-minus category, finishing as a +5 in 31 minutes on the court.
Coen Carr
In a career high 32 minutes played in this game, Coen Carr finished with 15 points and a +3 rating on Friday night.
Jeremy Fears Jr.
Jeremy Fears Jr. may not of had his best offensive game on Friday, but he was able to be very good defensively in the game. He finished as a +3 in 26 minutes.
Carson Cooper
Carson Cooper did exactly what Spartan fans have come to expect from the junior center, be a steady force during his time on the court. Cooper was a +2 player in 21 minutes against the Rebels.
Jaxon Kohler
Jaxon Kohler may not have scored in his 18 minutes of action, but he had a solid day on the court, being a good presence for MSU and finishing at +1.
Tre Holloman
The first of two players that finished in the negatives for the Spartans, Tre Holloman checked in at a -4 during his time on the court, which consisted of 26 minutes.
Frankie Fidler
Fidler led the team in plus-minus against New Mexico last Sunday, but on Friday, he was on the bottom of the list for MSU. Fidler finished as a -4 in 12 minutes of action.
