Olympique de Marseille manager Roberto De Zerbi revealed in his pre-match press conference that trio Amine Gouiri, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg and Ismaël Bennacer are uncertain to play the whole match against AS Monaco tomorrow.

It was reported this morning that Bennacer has suffered a stomach bug and missed today’s training session. De Zerbi revealed that the international Algerian midfielder will travel with the OM squad to the hotel ahead of Tomorrow’s match against Monaco. “He’ll come with us to the hotel tonight, but he wasn’t here today because of illness. We’ve left him to recover at home and then we’ll see tomorrow,” said De Zerbi in a press conference attended by Get French Football News.

In terms of Amine Gouiri and Pierre-Emile Højbjerg: OM announced to journalists that the pair had returned to group training, but De Zerbi said that the pair won’t be able to complete the whole match. “Gouiri can play some of the match, but I haven’t decided yet whether he starts or he comes off on the bench, the same goes for Pierre-Emile Højbjerg.”

Gouiri missed out last week against Toulouse after suffering a minor hamstring injury, whilst Højbjerg is recovering from an injury picked up just before the international break.
