Another Alabama basketball player from the Crimson Tide's Final Four run has entered the transfer portal.
On Monday morning, The Field of 68 Network's Jeff Goodman shared that a "source" informed him Jayhawks guard Rylan Griffen has entered the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-6, 190 pound junior averaged just 6.3 points per game as his new team went from flying high at No. 1 in the country to a lackluster 21-13 finish.

About an hour earlier, Goodman reported a "source" informed him that Crimson Tide coach Nate Oats has no interest in the Maryland job after unverified reports circulated that the Terrapins were interested in the sixth-year skipper on Sunday evening.
Goodman didn't mention whether Griffen received any continued interest from Alabama. However, a return isn't out of the realm of possibility.
Griffen left Alabama seeking more freedom to make shots, especially from mid-range, but Oats' system appeared to fare best for the Dallas, Tex. native.
