Aaron Rodgers Has Been Secretly Supporting Golfers on Venmo: ‘He’s Been Super Nice’

Aaron RodgersAaron Rodgers has been quietly donating money to help aspiring professional golfers continue their careers, according to a social media influencer who helps raise funds for athletes.
Ryan French, who runs the page “Monday Q Info” on X.com, has spent years using his social media platform to raise money for young and struggling golfers and then sending it to them directly. French said during an interview on the GOLF Subpar podcast on Wednesday, March 19 that one of his biggest donors in recent years has been none other than the 41-year-old, four-time NFL MVP winner.
“Aaron has been super good behind the scenes to me,” French said on the podcast. French said he met Rodgers after he saw an account under the Super Bowl winner’s name pop up on a livestream he was hosting of a golf tournament. French assumed it was a fake account, but “then, maybe a couple of weeks later, he messaged me. I was like, what the hell is happening?”
The two formed a relationship, and French says that when he raises money for golfers, Rodgers now reaches out to ask about them and donates money.
“He’s been super nice,” French said. “He wants to keep this on the down low, so now I’m going to tell it on the pod. I’ve tried my best to help players, or if they get their car stolen or need money, whatever, and he’ll just message me and be like, ‘Hey, is this a good dude or a good player?’ And I’d be like, yeah. And he would either Venmo me money and I then would Venmo the player or he would do it anonymously on GoFundMe.”
