'A relief' - Clough on drought-breaking Stags win
Boss Nigel Clough was relieved Mansfield Town ended its 13-match winless League One run and avoided an unwanted club record by beating Barnsley at the One Call Stadium on Saturday.
The Stags would have equalled the club's worst-ever football league run but for Deji Oshilaja's 90th-minute winner in a 2-1 victory over the Tykes.
"The stadium totally erupted and I thought the roof was going to come off," Clough told BBC Radio Nottingham.
"Everyone had been desperate for it and the patience the supporters have shown us has been incredible.
"I think that has been coming for a few weeks and the overriding feeling is relief, as well as the injustice of the last seven or eight weeks, when some of the losses should have been draws and some of the draws should have been wins."

Caylan Vickers' poked finish off the post gave Mansfield the early lead against Barnsley, who levelled through Josh Benson after the break.
Oshilaja, however, came up with a decisive, composed finish after Lucas Akins turned a deep ball from Stephen McLaughlin back across goal.
It dramatically sealed Mansfield's first victory since 4 January, and stopped Clough's side equalling the club's longest winless run of 14 league games, which bridged the 1999-2000 and 2000-01 seasons.
He praised his side for coming up with the drought-ending win only days after a 2-0 defeat at Exeter City had prompted first-team coach Andy Garner to say the Stags "looked like a non-league club".
"We were back on it today and I thought we were good value," Clough said.
"I thought we just about deserved it overall today and, if not, we have deserved some victories in the last few weeks.
"The ball that dropped for us in the last minute today was probably the first one that has dropped for us in the box in all that time."
