5 defensive tackles the Arizona Cardinals could target in Rounds 1-2 of NFL draft

The NFL draft is later this month and the Arizona Cardinals will be putting together their player rankings. NFL Network's Daniel Jeremiah recently updated his top 50 players and we broke the top 50 down by position.

As the Cardinals have different positional needs, let's take a look at each position group and who might be a target with either of their two top picks, No. 16 and No. 47 overall.

Let's look at the defensive tackle, a position of focus this offseason for the Arizona Cardinals. Even after signing Dalvin Tomlinson and Calais Campbell and re-signing L.J. Collier, adding another in the draft is not out of the question.

In Jeremiah's top 50 players, five are defensive tackles.

Defensive tackles in Daniel Jeremiah's top 50 prospects

  1. Mason Graham, Michigan: No. 4 overall
  2. Derrick Harmon, Oregon: No. 23 overall
  3. Walter Nolen, Ole Miss: No. 28 overall
  4. Kenneth Grant, Michigan: No. 30 overall
  5. Darius Alexander, Toledo: No. 47 overall

Who could the Cardinals get?

Graham won't be around. He will go in the top 10.

After that, Grant, Nolen and Harmon have all been mocked to the Cardinals at No. 16. Some projections have Grant and Nolen lasting until the second round.

All five, including Alexander have been mocked as first-round picks.
