Today, it's time to examine the 2006 Masters and the significant milestones that occurred at Augusta National Golf Club that year.
Who won the 2006 Masters?
Phil Mickelson won his second Masters title in three years. It was the third win by a lefty in four years at Augusta National after never having any beforehand. Two-time champ Jose Maria Olazabal shot 66 in the final round to get within three shots of Mickelson, but Lefty posted a 3-under 69 in the final round to secure his second green jacket.
