Today, it's time to examine the 1999 Masters and the significant milestones that occurred at Augusta National Golf Club that year.
Who won the 1999 Masters?
Jose Maria Olazabal earned his second Masters title, joining Seve Ballesteros as a two-time winner from Spain. Birdies on Nos. 13 and 16 helped Olazabal pull ahead to win by two shots over Davis Love III. No one in the field shot in the 60s during a difficult final round.

Second cut (1 3/8 inch) of fairway increased.
Tee on No. 2 moved back 20-25 yards; fairway bunker shifted to the right.
Green, pond and bunker complex adjusted on No. 11.
Fairway mounds reduced, and pine trees added to right and left on No. 15.
Tee moved back approximately 25 yards on No. 17.

Joe Durant won his only Par 3 Contest, shooting 5-under 22.
