The Women's Nations League returned on Friday and delivered some incredible games.

Here's what went down.

England 5-0 Belgium

Scorers: Bronze 21', Bright 45', Bever-Jones 67', Park 77', Walsh 88'

England turned on the style with a 5-0 humbling of Belgium.

Lucy Bronze marked her 130th international appearance by opening the scoring with an acrobatic header to meet Chelsea teammate Lauren James' right-sided cross.

The reigning European champions were again indebted to the Kingsmeadow link before half-time as Millie Bright doubled their advantage by heading in Bronze's flick-on.

A third Blues player joined the score sheet during the second half as Aggie Beever-Jones fired home before Manchester City's Jess Park later added a cool finish.

Keira Walsh capped things off two minutes from time with her first Lionesses' goal from outside the box which took a deflection to take it out of Nicky Evrard's reach.

Portugal 2-4 Spain

Scorers: Amado 27', Costa (PEN) 56'; Guijarro 25', Aleixandri 40', Pina 43', González 89'

Spain made short work of neighbours Portugal with a 4-2 victory.

Patri Guijarro handed the world champions the lead midway through the first half by meeting Mapi León's cross at the far post with a deft header.

But Catraina Amado restored parity for the hosts barely two minutes later by sidestepping an advancing Cata Coll and rolling the ball into an empty net.

La Roja stepped things up with another two goals in three minutes, first as Laia Aleixandri met a Clàudia Pina cross into the box with another headed finish.

Provider turned poacher just before half-time as Pina scored in her own right despite being denied at a first attempt by Inês Pereira.

The Selecção das Quinas threatened to stage a second-half fightback after winning a penalty from which Carole Costa comfortably dispatched.

However Esther González averted any late drama by beating Pereira at a second time of asking from close range.

Scotland 0-4 Germany

Scorers: Senß 1', Howard OG 21', Zicai 56, Schüller 59'

Germany dismantled Scotland in the space of an hour with a 4-0 rout.

Elisa Senß set the visitors on their way in the first minute by drilling into the top corner of the net from the edge of the penalty area.

A moment of misfortune saw Scotland fall further behind through Sophie Howard's own goal after failing to fully clear her lines when dealing with Jule Brand's cross.

The Frauenteam turned up the pressure after the interval as Cora Zicai was able to fire a low finish before Lea Schüller rounded things off just three minutes later.

Wales 1-2 Denmark

Scorers: Holland 34'; Bruun 7', Vangesgaard 72'

Denmark recovered from Wales' first-half fightback to claim a 2-1 win.
