Italian juggernaut Milan secured a vital three-point haul away from home after a comfortable 4-0 win at Udinese.

Scorers: Le茫o 42', Pavlovi膰 45', Hern谩ndez 74', Reijnders 81'

Apart from a few early moments from the home side, Milan were in control at the Bluenergy Stadium against Le Zebrette, with that dominance finally coming home to roost in the 42nd minute when Rafael Le茫o opened the scoring with an exquisite finish to beat Maduka Okoye from range.

Milan would double their advantage just three minutes later through Strahinja Pavlovi膰 after the Serbian defender rose highest to head home a whipped-in corner from Christian Pulisic.

There were signs of real concern just under ten minutes after the restart after Milan shot-stopper Mike Maignan collided with Alex Jim茅nez outside of the box, with medics rushing to assess the Frenchman within moments.

Maignan would ultimately be stretchered off and replaced by Marco Sportiello, with initial signs looking more positive than first feared.

Jim茅nez would persist after the collision but would also be removed from action in the 73rd minute after the Spanish defender had not fully recovered from the blow he suffered earlier.

The match was put out of sight before the full-time whistle with further goals from Theo Hern谩ndez, and a 10th goal of the season for Dutch star Tijjani Reijnders to condemn Udinese to their heaviest defeat of the season.

Reijnders became just the second Dutchman in Milan history, after Marco van Basten, to reach double-figure Serie A goals in a single season.

With this result, Milan climbs to within a point of Fiorentina (8th) and two points off Roma (7th), with plenty of time left in the season to continue their league push.
