'We believe in redemption': Johnson responds to Trump's pardons of Jan. 6 rioters
Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., was asked about President Trump's pardons for those involved in the Capitol riot, including some for those convicted of violent crimes. Johnson described the prosecutions as a "weaponization" of the Justice Department and that his party believed in "redemption."
