World Cup and Olympic champion Alyssa Naeher announces retirement from USWNT
- Goalkeeper has played for the US for 11 years
- 36-year-old won gold this summer at Paris 2024
World Cup and Olympic champion Alyssa Naeher is retiring from international soccer after more than a decade with the US women’s national team.
Naeher is on the team’s roster for a pair of upcoming matches in Europe but those games will be her last after 11 years playing for her country.
