Letby’s legal team is preparing to submit a case to the body that investigates potential miscarriages of justice
The evidence used to convict Lucy Letby will be challenged on Tuesday by a panel of experts convened by Dr Shoo Lee, a Canadian professor of paediatrics, whose own research formed part of the prosecution case.
Letby, 35, is serving 15 whole-life prison terms after being convicted of murdering seven babies and attempting to kill another seven at the Countess of Chester hospital in north-west England in the year to June 2016.
